This past week was a good and sad one in the shop. Good because of all the wonderful new friends we made and sad because we lost a friend. J.L. Toney lost his battle with mesothelioma this past week and he leaves behind his wonderful family, Luann, Lesley & Thomas and Hannah and a host of other family members and friends.
We cried along with them and we mourn their loss.
The wreath below was made in the shop by Terry for J.L. commissioned by their great friends "The Girls" and it now hangs in Luann's house.
We are humbled and thrilled that they allowed us to be a small part of that outpouring of love.
Heaven has gained another great man this past week!

It just arrived and went on the shop floor yesterday, speculations are that it won't last through the weekend.
This beachy sign by Tina is spectacular and I cant wait till some of our beachy decor loving friends see it!
Tina brought us some beautiful framed pictures she shot at the beach while on vacation, light houses, see shells, the Inn at Rodanthe...ahhh...
One of our dear friends Ellen decorates in French Country and commissions items from time to time. All the pieces below were painted by Tina and are hers......

It's heartbreaking news in itself and heartbreaking to you because I know you really love the people God allows you to cross paths with. Your store is not just a home decor shoppe, it's a healing place where people belong and are loved genuinely. I sure have felt that.
