As I shared briefly in my last post our shop has been blessed by two new consignors, Cindy and Gail.
Their creative endeavors are known locally as "Works of Our Hands".

Below you will find pictures of some of their hand made pillows and dolls. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we are enjoying having them as new consignors.

Holy Cow I'm Online AGAIN!!!!!

Oh my goodness I have been gone for what seems forever from my blog!!!! Long story short, first came hideous lightning storm, then came computer rebuild, then came virus, then came antenna trouble with wireless, then ..... well you get the drift!!! But hey I am back online, our PC still has some issues but I'm able to blog thanks to my Hubs! !
Right now that-s good enough for me!!!

Sooo I haven't been on since Christmas 2009 and lots have changed! The shop is growing more all the time, and evolving into an even more amazing place than I ever dreamed! We have picked up more floral business, including more wedding flowers, and anticipate even more, we have been asked to site visit and assist customers in decorating their homes even more, and been blessed with even more local artisans than ever! We now have 18 local craftsmen and women showcasing their beautiful handcrafted furniture, baskets, quilts, dolls, samplers and sooooo much more!!!!

We are proud to announce that we now have an IN HOUSE furniture maker! Jenn is awesome! She can listen to a customers request, draw up a sketch and work up the correct dimensions and an estimate in as little as a day and she is currently blessed with a multitude of requests for commissioned pieces including, two chimney cabinets, a large buffet, a tall screened front pantry style cabinet, a coffee table, two end tables, and two large primitive cabinets to hold dvds for a customer!!! Jenn's work is meticulous and we are thrilled to have her on-board!!! She should have some new pieces in the shop this next week also!

Another wonderful announcement...we have picked up two more local artisans. Cindy and Gail a mother and daughter combo make some awesome prim and grungy dolls and pillows! The pillows are made of wool and have awesome prim hand stitched decor, and the dolls are unbelievable. These two consigner's formerly showcased their work at another area primitive shop called The Pumpkin House. We are tickled to have them and their items are going fast as word gets out.

Last but not least a not so thrilling announcement, our main local bridge has been closed as of tonight for repairs and wont open again until early August! This will make a lot of our customers have to take a detour to get to us! So we started a new punch card program to express our appreciation for our loyal customers. This program rewards our loyal customers with some FREE GAS! Yep FREE! Just to say thank you! If you are reading this and have to reroute to come see us pick up your punch card and get started earning your FREE GAS!

Ok ok enough blabbing, below you will find a smidgen of pics from the shop but more will come soon!

This sign was painted by my sis Terry and its got a pretty cool verse and feel about it!

Some sweet grungy bunny's just arrived from Renee!
And the button trimmed pillow is from Tina!

Yep these three adorable child sized chairs are from Tina!
They would make awesome additions to anyone's home!

Stop by the shop and see us soon!!!!!
