Special Consigner delivery- New Art Work

This picture and the two below are pictures of a vintage metal locker cabinet that Teresa of Frazier's Bottom brought in the shop this morning! It is one awesome cabinet!!! This picture is part of the design on the left side which also includes a Bible verse.
This picture is part of the image painted on the front of the locker. There are small bee's flying all over with sweet lil words over each one of them like bee-lieve, and bee- good...

This picture is on the right side of the locker. It depicts an Americana image with the pledge of allegiance on it, a nice sized prim sheep and some mischievous looking crows...

This vintage cheese box was also created by Teresa, It is another wonderfully creative piece.

This adorable child's chair was brought in by Tina of Charleston yesterday. Its awesome!

This sweet lil child's chair with the moon man face on the seat was also painted by Tina. I love her moon faces, and soo do many of my customers....

Teresa brought in this lil primmed vintage suitcase today also. Its another sweet lil piece.

This saltbox scene painted on a cabinet door was brought in my Tina. Beautiful!

This painted canvas by Tina is another beauty. Won't be in the shop long!

This sweet lil painting on a cabinet door also by Tina would be sweet
in a very girly room or even the powder room!

What can I say anything she paints with a bit of a sunflower on it is striking!
Another beauty!

This neat lil vintage purse from Teresa is so sweet.
My sis and I may have to arm wrestle for this one before a customer ever gets a chance at it!!!
These are but a few of the pieces that have arrived the last couple days. More have arrived, more shipments and more hand delivered consignments. I will post more in the next couple days.

Sigh Another Loss...

Nick- grandson, Aunt Laura, daughter Susan, Uncle Lee Dent
Today we received the sad news that my Uncle Lee Dent had passed away yesterday morning. Lee was the uncle I spoke of in prior posts that had Alzheimer's and who was in a nursing home. His wife (who was my Dad's favorite sister) my Aunt Laura was the one on life support not expected to live awhile back. She is recovering now thanks to much prayer and will be able to leave the hospital soon.
I had to take my mom to the funeral home tonight to see my uncle and it was hard to do, hard on us all so soon after losing Dad. I told my cousin Susan, Lee & Laura's only daughter that I wasn't happy to welcome her to this Sisterhood of those with Deceased Dad's....I love her and am always glad to share with her but wasn't wanting to share this with her or anyone else I love....
We both had wonderful fathers and no one can replace them on this earth. God sure picked a couple of good ones to take home to be with him.

My Dad, Me, My daughter

Dad and Mom

Thanks my friends for giving me this outlet to share my grief lately, it sure has helped to know that some of you are Daddy's Girls too and some of you have dealt with the loss of your dads to.

Thanks again,
Deb

Today's Treasures

This new vignette features a hand painted cabinet door created by Tina. Love the painted cabinet doors she does, and the fact that she picks up most of her materials at Habitat for Humanity makes me love them even more!

New mantel decor for Spring!!! Yep Spring!!! Love that word! Say it with me SPRING!!!!

This new rustic secretary is an awesome one of a kind hand crafted piece. Ron brought this one in brand new and unfinished and Terry got to work on it aging it quickly!!!
Its really nice!! A very unique piece! And dont ya like the black milk can lamp with the punched tin shade too????

This primitive free standing plate rack and shelf is awesome!
We have sold three of these now that Danny has made and I am sure we will have many more requests!

These three small primitive wall shelves were made by Darrell. They are currently residing on top of one of Nancy's quilted stools.

This kitty arrived today from Mitzi, and its perched in a colonial style wooden
plate holder made by Danny.
These double wedding ring pillows just arrived and are sitting in the top of a beautiful hand woven hamper made by the Reed Family.

I picked up this #4 crock yesterday on a buying trip but I'm sure it won't last too long!

The pillow and the kitty both are handmade one of a kind treasures.

This primitive wooden tray with it's vintage newspaper Wrigleys Gum ad is a keeper! Tina brought it in recently and I hear she may bring more items in on Friday!!!
Just another quick glimpse of the variety we are constantly bringing into the shop for you to enjoy!
Hope you stop in soon!

Even More Artisan's Hand Crafted Items

Below are just a few pics that will hopefully give you an idea of some of the amazing hand crafted items consigned in my shop. I feel honored to have so many fine West Virginia artisans and craft people represented in my shop!

This reproduction utensil holder comes from Darrell of Red House. Its made from a very old repurposed timber. Its just beautiful and the texture of it is awesome....He will have to create some more of these I am sure.

This rustic feeling bookcase with its scalloped detail on top comes from Danny of Hurricane. He was our original consigner and his hand crafted items are still some of our very favorite pieces. I have commissioned him to make furniture for my own home even!

This wonderful prim tea dyed sampler was stitched and framed by Tammy of Red House. It's always exciting to see her car pull up in front of the shop because I never know what she will bring next!

This handpainted cabinet painted and primmed by my sister Terry and I disappeared quickly within just a few days of finishing it and moving it to the sales floor. Amazing!

This fun sign was created by Tina of Charleston and like all her handpainted items its a keeper!
We always love seeing her smiling face!

This mini raggedys were created by Tammy of Red House and are selling like hotcakes!
Even the babies in their momma's arms have to have one to take home!

This is one of the beautiful hand woven handbags made by the Reed family of Buffalo.
They do wonderful work.
Each bag even has a handmade unique liner. I own two of them myself!
The two angels on the ladder are Tammy's, the towel is Tina's and the ladders were made by Tony of Cross Lanes.

This hand pieced and stitched lap quilt was sewn by Jill of Hurricane.
She creates beautiful items totally hand stitched.

These handpainted welcome pineapples were created by Jerry of Cross Lanes and painted by my sister Terry. They are custom made for each customer.
These were just a few of our newer hand crafted items arriving weekly. Wont you stop by and take a look at the quality locally crafted items today. We buy WV first, USA second and only imports as our last resort!
Stop by soon!!!!
