Exploring My Artistic Side

I love my camera... it lets me use my artistic side with just the squeeze of a shutter button and without ever opening a tube of paint or dirtying a paint brush. And if the finished photo isn't a masterpiece I can always delete it with no waste....

Today the hubs and I spent the day at his sisters beautiful farm and I snapped a ton of pictures. I then came home and downloaded them to a software program where I can tweak and change them up a bit...
See what you think of my artistic attempts below.....I feel good about them but I don't think Monet has any competition just yet...

These two canvas director chairs just needed the lighting changed on them...

Couldn't help but snap these clematis and bring the purple up a notch...

These two adirondack chairs on a stone porch and the view beyond just got some lighting changes and some cropping...

The horse above is a picture of a picture with the film grain revved way up.... you can see the cameras reflection if you look close enough...

This cat is surrounded by so many textures that I just lined up at the right angles and then cropped him a bit and let the textures speak for themselves....

This vignette was already composed on the foot of the guest bed.....perfect...

These awesome rocks I simply kicked up the color saturation on....

These two rockers are my favs!!!
I changed the color to sepia and snapped the picture through the porch screen to give it a really misty feel...

Just a bit of my artistic side exposed.... hope you enjoyed it!
